Student Life
CURRICULUM
The Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic Schools follows curriculum guides developed by expert teachers in each curriculum field. These guides are learning standards, sample activities and best practices. Annunciation teachers have been extensively trained on standards based assessments and have developed scales to assist in the evaluation of student progress. Annunciation takes pride in the vast array of enriching and meaningful coursework provided to all students. Necessary strides have been made to ensure our students are exposed to 21st Century learning. Differentiation of instruction occurs to meet the needs of all levels of learners.
Annunciation students are part of a rich learning environment in which various talents are developed and enhanced. While Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies are part of all Catholic School programs, Annunciation teachers provide cutting edge instruction to make learning meaningful. All middle school students conduct science labs on a regular bases and our 3rd-5th graders have science lab once a week. Additionally, Annunciation students are fortunate to receive instruction in other enriching courses as noted below.
