Letter from the Pastor and Principal

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ!

As we begin the new school year, I want to welcome everyone back for a year of grace and blessings.  Our theme for the year is to "be”.  The Lord God is the very source of our being and gives us life here on earth and life everlasting.  So let us go to that Source each day with a spirit of gratitude for the gift of life and a renewed zeal to serve the Lord and one another.  Psalm 46:10-11 says:  "Be still and know that I am God.  I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”   Let us take the opportunity to be still in silent prayer with God so that we can be transformed by the grace of Jesus Christ.  Remember that we have a Eucharistic Adoration Chapel in St. Magdalene Hall that you can visit before or after school or at any other time as it is open 24/7 in order for you to find a place for stillness with God.  You will be blessed indeed as you come to know the love of God in Eucharistic Adoration.

Yours in Christ,
Rev. Bennett J. Voorhies
Pastor
